This gallery shows a trip to the Ishigualasto Valley of Argentina. The Principal Investigator is Dr. Oscar Alcober of the University of San Juan and the expedition is sponsored by Earthwatch Organization. The purpose of this project is to document the transition from early reptiles to dinosaurs and mammals during the Triassic Period. This project is conducted during late September and early October.
