The two photos in this gallery show the Carnegie Museum of Natural History exhibit of T.rex vs. T.rex which opened on June 15, 2008. The exhibit features the Holotype T. rex found in 1902 by Barnum Brown of the American Museum of Natural History in New York. In 1905, Henry Fairfield Osborn published a description of the specimen, naming it Tyrannosaurus rex. The American Museum of Natural History later sold the specimen to the Carnegie Museum for $7000 in 1941.
